Private Lessons

 

If you are looking to get started on training with your dog, private lessons are a great way to begin! In one on one sessions, we can focus on your specific training goals for your pup. If your dog is struggling with leash manners, socialization, reactivity or nuisance issues, private lessons are a great option.

This package can be tailored to fit you and your dog’s needs. It typically includes 3 lessons, 2 training walks, and group classes.

Leash Manners Training

 

Does your dog struggle with lunging, jumping, barking or pulling on the leash? This training package may be the perfect option for you! This package includes an in home training lesson, 2 training walks, one public lesson, and is followed by group pack walks.

This package requires a consultation, veterinary records and minimum age of 7 months.

Dog Walking Packages

 

After an initial free consultation, your dog could be eligible to participate in a dog walking package. There are 3 main packages (though they can be tailored to your needs): a basic dog walking package with 1-3 30 minute walks per week, a training package that focuses on building the dog’s leash manners and socialization with 1-3 60 minute walks/sessions per week, and finally, an adventure walking package. The adventure package includes 1-2 60-180 minute field trips (not including travel time) per week.

Temperament testing and veterinary records are required to sign up for a dog walking package.

Puppy Foundations Training

 

This package is focused on teaching you how to build a bond with your pup, and set the expectations that you’ll be upholding throughout their life. We’ll work on puppy basic commands (sit, down, stay, come), boundaries (crate, doors, around the home), and conditioning behaviors (calm greetings, leash manners, vet/grooming interactions, puppy play). And so much more!

This class is for puppies aged 8 weeks to 10 months, depending on size. Veterinary records are required to attend class, puppies should be up to date on vaccines based on their age. Bordetella vaccine is required.

Cooperative Care Club

 

Does your dog struggle with being touched at the vet or the groomer? This group class will help you and your dog build confidence in handling! Cooperative Care is about giving our dog the choice to participate in grooming and handling, and training them to tolerate and choose to participate.

This club begins with a one on one consultation and initial assessment, an introduction lesson and then group classes. Veterinary records are required to join this class and a minimum age of 5 months.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Group Class

 

If you have completed basic training with your pup and are ready for the next step, this class is for you! The CGC certification is a great foundation for any training goals you have for your pup, whether that may be agility or therapy work. This class will help your pup learn to remain calm with greetings, crowds and distractions.

This class requires a temperament test and veterinary records for participation. The final class will be the actual Canine Good Citizen test (included in the cost of class), and don’t stress, if your pup is not able to pass on the first try, additional testing is only $15. Class not required for testing.
