Pack Walk - Umstead State Park
We will be meeting at Umstead State Park for a group pack walk! We will meet for warm up and focus exercises before moving on our walk. This walk may be a bit slower paced to allow for nose exploration. Expect to walk between .75 and 1.5 miles, and please bring water for you and your pup.

Brewery Dog Manners - Raleigh Brewing
We’ll be meeting at Raleigh Brewing again for a simple brewery dog manners practice. You must bring a bed or place board with you to join this group class. We may practice indoors and out, depending on the weather. We will practice our dogs holding place, leash manners, and greeting manners if appropriate.

Intermediate Puppy Foundations
In this class, we will be practicing with cooperative care and having a small training competition. We will practice testing the skills we’ve been working on in class. We will be meeting at the Big Field at Dorothea Dix Park. This class will work on holding sit/place, leash manners, and recalls, all with lots of distractions! If you have a place board or a long leash (10-20 foot), please bring it.

Knightdale Station Park Group Walk
We will meet at the parking lot near the Prime Barbeque restaurant at Knightdale Station Park. We will begin with warm up exercises, then set out on a group pack walk around the park. We will be walking at least half a mile, maybe 1.5 miles total. Please bring water for your pup if they pant heavily from walks or training sessions!
As long as the puppy is up to date on vaccines, including the Bordetella vaccine and the Rabies vaccines, there is no age limit for the walk.

Brewery Dog Manners at Fortnight Brewing Company
Fortnight Brewing is a perfect location to work on our skills in a public setting. There is a disc golf course, outdoor seating and always a great food truck! Please bring either a bed or a place board to help work on “hanging out” calmly in public.
This class is available to current clients who have started lessons and are ready for higher distractions, like around other dogs, and are older than 7 months.

This is a free group class to refresh our greeting manners, leash manners and behavior in public. This class takes place at PetPeople by Hollywood Feed at Falls. This class is available to any current clients wishing to practice their pups’ skills!

Intro to Cooperative Care
LIMITED SPACE - Must Register for this Class!
This free class is an introduction to the concept of cooperative care, helping our dogs become more comfortable with handling and grooming. If your dog struggles with the groomer or at the vet office, consider attending this class! We are working on teaching our dogs the power of choice, how to get them more comfortable with handling and even participate in the procedures or grooming practice.
If you have a dog reactive or aggressive pup, please let them stay home for this class. This one is mostly for the owners, but I would love a few friendly pups to attend so I can demonstrate and introduce the training concepts. Puppy Play Manners

This class is for puppies who have begun or completed Puppy Foundations training with Living Life Dog Training. This class is for puppies aged 3 months to 12 months and focuses on appropriate play behavior, greeting manners, and positive association.

This class is focused on appropriate socialization behavior, whether in greetings, loose leash walks, or in a play group. We will be balancing play and structure in this session. This class is for puppies under a year that have worked with Amanda, and will take place indoors in a community room. Finally, another group class on the schedule! This class will be located at Knightdale Station Park and will have a focus on leash manners and holding a command passing distractions. With the early class time, it should be cool enough for our pups throughout, but we can move under the shaded area. Water will be provided for the pups!

This is a free group pack walk at Bond Park in Cary! We will be meeting at the boathouse and then heading toward the trails. We are beating the summer heat with this morning pack walk, but it really helps to know your pup’s limits with heat. This pack walk will be longer than the first one, so keep that in mind.
